SCIENCE 3IS3 - Interdisciplinary Sciences Field Camp3 unit(s)
An interdisciplinary field camp experience to introduce students to field equipment and methodologies used by a range of scientists including ecologists, earth and environmental scientists. Most of this course occurs outside the regular academic term, usually the two weeks following the end of term in April; details and applications are available in December.
Students enrolling in this course must pay both the incidental fees as prescribed by the Integrated Science program and the regular tuition fees. Students intending to enroll in this course must submit an application by November 15 of the academic year prior to registration. Application forms are available from the Integrated Science program (or www.science.mcmaster.ca/isci). Students will be informed of acceptance of their application by December 15, subject to fulfillment of the requirements. Prerequisite(s): Registration in Level II or above of an Honours program in the Faculty of Science; and permission of the instructor Co-requisite(s): Registration in SCIENCE 3IS0 Cross-list(s): ISCI 3IS3 SCIENCE 3IS3 may be repeated, if on a different topic.
