Shear centre. Shearing stresses due to bending in thin-walled open and closed members. Torsion of closed and open sections, warping, non-uniform torsion and warping stresses. Theory of plates- Rectangular and circular plates problems. Buckling of elastic columns. Flexural-Torsional buckling of beams. Axial-torsional buckling of columns. Plate buckling (local buckling), shear of buckling of plates.
