BIOMEDDC 702 / Community Internship

Prerequisite(s): Must be enrolled in Biomedical Discovery and Commercialization.

The internship will provide students with the opportunity to explore career options and integrate academic learning through an experiential placement in the community sectors related to the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry. Students will be placed in an internship position through a matching process or through their own initiative, subject to the approval of the program office. Academic requirements will include completion of a learning portfolio where students will document the fulfillment of individual learning objectives. Students will also share aspects of their experiences in a student symposium.
