Using case studies of workers in service, public sector, knowledge and manufacturing jobs, this course will explore the dynamics between workers and the organization of work. In examining this ever-changing relationship we will be especially interested in understanding workers’ everyday experiences, including their ability to resist or shape their working conditions.
