An introduction to health issues in a rural Canadian and international context including theories of: development; political economy; medical and social anthropology; and Intercultural health care practice.
Lecture/problem based tutorial (three hours); one term
Prerequisite(s): HTHSCI 2RR3 ; and registration in either Level III or above of the B.Sc.N. Basic (A) Stream (Mohawk or Conestoga College Site) or Level III or above of the B.Sc.N. Post Diploma R.P.N. (E) Stream (Mohawk or Conestoga College site)
