3 unit(s) A course using computers to solve selected problems in physics. Students are required to develop working programs for solving problems such as: Monte Carlo simulations, The Schrodinger equation, molecular dynamics, differential equations among others.
Three lectures; one term Prerequisite(s):PHYSICS 2G03; and PHYSICS 3MM3 or ENGPHYS 2QM3; or registration in one of Honours Physics Co-op (B.Sc.), an Honours Biophysics, or Honours Medical and Biological Physics (B.Sc.) program; or permission of the instructor
