An independent study under the supervision of a faculty member. Students must obtain permission of their faculty supervisor, according to the Program Guidelines, by the end of March of Level III. Occasional lecture/tutorial; two terms
Prerequisite(s): Registration in Level IV of an Honours Life Sciences program and permission of the supervising faculty member and Course Coordinator. LIFE SCI 3X03 and/or LIFE SCI 3RP3 is highly recommended.
Prerequisite(s)(EFFECTIVE 2014-2015): Registration in Level IV of an Honours Life Sciences program with a minimum C.A. of 7.0 and permission of the supervising faculty member and Course Coordinator. LIFE SCI 3X03 and/or LIFE SCI 3RP3 is highly recommended.

Not open to students with credit or registration in any department- or program-based thesis, independent study/project or seminar course.
