GLOB HTH 702 / Global Health Foundations II 3 unit(s)
This course introduces students to project development and program management in global health. Building on policy analysis learnt in Foundations 1, students use a case-study approach to develop proposals in the three Global Health program fields. Students learn to translate theory into practice in the context of global health. Incisive decision-making and cross-cultural negotiations are key elements of the process. Students continue to learn in in transcontinental learning pods; participate in seminars led by faculty and other experts in the field; and make presentations which synthesize the course materials.
