PSYCH 755 / Advanced Psychopathology

Prerequisite(s): PSYCH 751  

This course is offered to students enrolled in the Research and Clinical Training program stream in PNB. This course is a survey of psychopathology, as it is represented in the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders Fifth Edition (DSM-5, 2013). Content to be covered will include historical and contemporary theory and research regarding the etiology and progression of abnormality including biological, psychological and socio-cultural understandings.
