PUBHLTH 708 / Master of Public Health Seminar Series Year Two
Prerequisite(s): MPH Seminar Series Year One
The Public Health Seminar Year Two course runs for 14 weeks in the Fall term. This course is for Master of Public Health students to learn and demonstrate skills and knowledge using current public health issues (understanding, choosing a position and defending it; continuous learning and collaboration). The course includes a variety of education methods including interactive seminars, debates, participation in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics and other relevant rounds and at the Ontario Public Health Association Fall Forum.
This course is mandatory for all full time MPH students in their second year. For part-time MPH students, they will be expected to take this course in their final year of studies.
This course is not open to non-MPH students.
