PUBHLTH 707 / MPH Special Topics

Prerequisite(s): PUBHLTH 700 , PUBHLTH 701 and enrollment in the MPH program.

This course is designed to allow MPH students to tailor their learning to specific topics in population or public health relevant to their professional or research interests and do advanced work in this area. The topic studied may be synergistic with the student’s thesis topic but must not represent a major overlap with it. Under the guidance of a faculty member, the student will critically examine the pertinent literature. Only one special topics course can be counted towards the course requirements of the MPH program.
