Prerequisite(s): Must be enrolled in Public Health or have permission of the instructor.
The course provides an introduction to theories of human health behaviour, from individual, interpersonal, community and policy levels. Students will gain an understanding of these theories and how they can be applied within public health and related fields. Current topics will be drawn upon to make the concepts relevant to the students. In addition, students will develop their own healthy lifestyle plan drawing on these theories.
