The longitudinal practicum will build on the skills developed in the Clinical Practicum placement, allowing more indepth exposure to a wide breadth of psychiatric presentations, professional practice standards, major diagnostic assessment tools and intervention techniques. Students will be engaged in clinical interviewing, psychodiagnostic assessment, evidence-based treatment approaches and report writing. Opportunities for exposure to clinical research will be provided.
