MED SCI 713 / Integrated Systems in Gastrointestinal Health and Disease I

The course will provide an understanding of the gastrointestinal tract emphasizing the integration of basic science and pertinent clinical issues. Each topic will highlight advances in cell physiology and molecular biology including the clinical perspective. Emphasis will be given to development of the gastrointestinal tract, digestive processes, absorption and motility. It is a non-compulsory companion course with MED SCI *769 .
