LABRST 760 / Labour, Equity, and Diversity 3 unit(s)
This course explores contemporary struggles for equity and diversity in the context of work and society, as unions and other social movements have been pressed to broaden their strategies and struggles to include new voices and tactics and to form alliances with other social movements. Using present-day examples, this course will expose students to a range of theories and empirical examples to understand the employment related challenges faced by different equity-seeking groups with the aim of informing strategies for change.
