This course examines entrepreneurial ventures from a biotechnology perspective, drawing on both theory and practice. The course addresses such concerns as intellectual property, marketing, strategic human resources, raising capital, and starting and growing a business in this unique context. The course is designed for McMaster students in the Biomedical Discovery and Commercialization (BDC) graduate program. The course provides an opportunity for science students to develop knowledge and networks of entrepreneurial ventures in their field of study.
