This course is intended to give students practical programming skills in languages such as C and C++, experience with debugging, code optimization, algorithm design, and numerical libraries, and the ability to produce high-quality and well-organized scientific software, both on their own and in collaboration with others. The only prerequisite for taking this course is basic knowledge of any programming language.
