NURSING 701 / Theoretical Basis of Nursing Practice

Students will carry out supervised field-based practice to provide them with the opportunity to develop autonomous roles in multiple clinical settings, allowing critical analysis and evaluation of concepts and theories relevant to the proposed research topics. Practice will be complemented by seminars focused on the related concepts and theories including biological, psychological, epidemiological, and environmental perspectives. Students will make presentations and write assignments using theoretical frameworks and concepts appropriate for the clinical situations.
