CLPPC 713 / Independent Masters Project

Prerequisite(s): Enrollment is restricted to Child Life and Pediatric Psychosocial Care students only.

This is a required course for Stream 1 and 2 learners, and runs for 14 weeks. This course is designed to allow students to demonstrate, in writing, their ability to integrate ideas and reflect knowledge in areas of pediatric psychosocial care. Students will identify a topic of interest, or a quality improvement initiative, and develop a paper under the guidance of a faculty advisor. This paper must be 25 to 30 pages, excluding references and appendices. This is a scholarly essay, not a thesis.
