This course provides students with a fundamental understanding of project management principles, tools and techniques, as well as opportunities to develop and reinforce project management skills. The course covers technical, organizational, and leadership components of project management, including the use of project management software. Topics covered include project team structures, the project life cycle, project selection, project scheduling, project estimation, and project performance management. Management issues related to project planning, organization, scheduling, resource allocation, monitoring and control are discussed.
