The dynamic performance of chemical processes is strongly influenced by structural, equipment and control design decisions, which should be made in a coordinated manner. This course provides a systematic method for analyzing process flowsheets and improving dynamic behavior a flowsheet by modifying the structure, selecting proper equipment and locating sensors and final elements for process control. This analysis includes evaluating and enhancing the designs operating window, flexibility, reliability, safety, and process control.
