CLPPC 700 / Child Life Residency 1

Prerequisite(s): Enrollment is restricted to Stream 1 Child Life and Pediatric Psychosocial Care students only.

This is a required course for stream 1 learners, and is offered in an intensive on-campus format during a four-day residency period in the Fall term. This course offers an overview of the program, including learning outcomes, content, instructional and assessment methods, and online learning resources. The history, competencies, and standards of child life clinical practice will also be examined to provide a foundation from which to build knowledge and clinical application in remaining courses and internships.
