CNMCS 700 / Doctoral Seminar in Communication, New Media, and Cultural Studies 1

Prerequisite(s): Mandatory for all Year 1 CNMCS PhD candidates.

This Year 1 Doctoral Seminar will meet every other week September through March to share ideas, methods, and practices. Students will have opportunities to workshop their developing research program throughout first year in the lead up to the submission of their short thesis proposals in term 2, encouraging the creation of a community of ideas and discussion as well as the pursuit of individual projects.
