CLPPC 720 / Theory and Practice Remediation

Prerequisite(s): Permission of the program.

This course is an independent study course that provides students with the opportunity to remediate theoretical or practical knowledge, behaviours and/or skills after having difficulty completing a course. Student eligibility to undertake this formal remediation is determined by the Program’s Student Affairs Committee (PSAC). An independent learning plan will be developed in consultation with a faculty member and the (PSAC) based on the student’s learning issues and/or identified gaps. This time-bound plan will be implemented with specific learning objectives, and strategies and resources to achieve those objectives. Explicit criteria and methods for evaluation will be used to determine if academic expectations have been met to continue in the program. This course is evaluated on a Pass/Fail basis.”
