Prerequisite(s): Enrollment is restricted to MSc Psychotherapy students

This course will provide training in advanced psychotherapy skills via tutorial-based classes. Students will learn and practice a range of clinical skills from evidence-based psychotherapies for various mental health problems as well as engage in clinical interviewing and risk assessments. Managing and troubleshooting challenges to the therapeutic alliance and the use of self will be explored. Skill development exercises will include reviewing video recordings of psychotherapy skills, leading classes discussions, and role-play.
