The need for clarity of communication in the health and biological sciences is evident in the importance that NSERC and CIHR have placed on training early-stage researchers in knowledge translation and science communication. Even more importantly, effective communication is critical in the current multidisciplinary corporate environment. This course will provide a working knowledge on understanding your audience, telling an engaging story through oral, visual and written media. The course will touch on how to use these media to connect with corporate and public audiences as well as potential funders.
