ANTHROP 3ET3 - Anthropology of Ethics 3 unit(s)
This course explores the classical anthropological question of how ethical value is shaped and contested. Grounded in ethnography studies of specific ethical traditions (both religious and secular), course topics may include the problem of suffering, the prospect of human freedom, the cultivation of virtue, and the development of moral obligations.
