LIFESCI 3M03 - Cellular Dynamics in Health and Disease
3 unit(s) This course examines how cells respond to a variety of biochemical and mechanical information to continuously adapt to their local environment. In this course, students explore cell biology techniques and model systems used to explain cellular dynamics in the context of healthy and disease states.
Lectures (three hours); one term Prerequisite(s):LIFESCI 2A03 and BIOLOGY 2B03, or ISCI 2A18 A/B; and BIOLOGY 2C03, or MOLBIOL 2C03, or LIFESCI 2G03; and registration in Level III or above of a program in the Faculty of Science. Completion of LIFESCI 2BP3 is strongly recommended.
