An introduction to organic chemistry with an emphasis on structure and bonding, conformations and stereochemistry, and reaction processes around alkyl halide, alkene, and carbonyl centers. Special topics may include spectroscopy, polymers, and/or biomolecules.

Prerequisite(s): CHEM 1A03 (or 1E03) and CHEM 1AA3; or ISCI 1A24 A/B
Not open to students with credit or registration in CHEM 2OA3 , 2OC3, 2OG3 or CHEMBIO 2OA3, 2OG3 .
CHEM 2E03 is not a prerequisite for further courses in Organic Chemistry.
