This experiential course develops practical skills in trading financial securities - money market instruments, bonds, equities, indices, ETFs, currencies, commodities, and their corresponding derivatives options focusing on trading strategies that minimize market exposure through risk management. The course uses industry tools such as Thomson Reuters Refinitiv and Bloomberg Professional.
Lectures (three hours)
Prerequisite(s): COMMERCE 2FB3 (or 3FA3) or IBH 3AC3; and registration in any Bachelor of Commerce or Engineering and Management program or relevant minor (see Faculty Note 2.)
