As the first of two offerings dedicated to the interactive process of literary study, the course encourages students to participate in fresh, open-minded, and careful reading of literary works in various forms, and to claim for themselves the relevance of literary engagement as a practice of knowledge. The course can be taken on its own or paired with ARTSSCI 4LT3.

Prerequisite(s): Registration in Level III or above of the Arts & Science Program
