HTHSCI 2ML3 - Introduction to Medical Laboratory Sciences

This course provides an introduction to the key disciplines in medical laboratory sciences including microbiology, pathology, clinical chemistry, genetics, hematology and coagulation, and transfusion medicine. Students will explore these disciplines, examine the ways that these laboratory sciences support health care, and be exposed to a range of career possibilities in these fields.

Prerequisites: One of BIOLOGY 1A03, HTHSCI 1I06 A/B, or ISCI 1A24 A/B and registration in Level II or above.
