Trauma can be a teacher for the person who has experienced it, those around them, and broader communities. Facilitated by individuals with lived experience, this course will explore harm reduction as a health policy and advocacy approach, and provide students with an opportunity examine the importance of community knowledge, engagement, and reflexivity in uncovering lessons from trauma for broader systems change.
