BUSINESS O701 / Modeling and Prescriptive Analytics

Prerequisite(s): BUSINESS O600 , OR BUSINESS I602  AND BUSINESS I603  OR enrollment in the Blended Learning Part-time MBA Program.

This course focuses on one of the four pillars of analytics, i.e., prescriptive analytics. It will discuss the most popular prescription techniques, and demonstrate their application by building computer models of managerial problems drawn from different business areas such as operations, marketing, finance, etc. The computer models would be solved and analyzed using Analytic Solver within a spreadsheet environment.
