PHYSIOTH 798 / Physiotherapy Theory and Practice Remediation 3 unit(s)

This half replacement course is an independent study course that provides students in the Master of Science (Physiotherapy) Program with the opportunity to remediate theoretical or practical knowledge, skills and or behaviours. A learning contract will be developed by the student, in consultation with a faculty member. The learning contract will be comprised of Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Time-bound (SMART) learning goals. Learning resources (Techniques and Tools), Evaluation Methodology, and Criteria for Evaluation. Course content will be individually tailored for the student to align with the learning contract and remediation requirements as outlined by the Program Academic Standing Committee (PASC). The course is evaluated on a Pass / Fail basis. Students will normally only be able to take PHYSIOTH 798 once while in the MSc(PT) Program.
