3 unit(s) This course will challenge your understanding of the gift. Is there a pure gift? What is some of the violence underneath the gift development, philanthropy, and so on? How have capitalist economies accumulated a great deficit in their balancing of historical accounts, when there is an immense debt handing over the world, a violent history replicated but hidden in the cleanliness of the present?
