ELECENG 3N03 - Analog Electronics for Measuring Systems

This course gives a concise introduction to the main elements of a low-frequency analog signal acquisition chain. Topics include sensors (voltage, current, charge, and resistance), signal conditioning circuits, passive filters, operational amplifiers, circuits with and without feedback, differential and instrumentation amplifiers, rectifier circuits, filter design for anti-aliasing purposes, analog-to-digital converters, sources of noise, noise reduction, and design for the best trade-off.
