3 unit(s) This course examines the use of human remains in research, education, and cultural institutions (e.g., museums), as well as ethical considerations about their use. We will examine a wide range of topics, such as: cadavers in medical training, the dead on display, archaeological bodies (e.g., mummies), and the commercial trade of human remains.
