This course covers a number of topics relevant to the management of electronic health systems. These topics will be presented in an integrated manner that will promote an understanding of health system governance, accountability, risk analysis, management, legal and regulatory standards, and policies. It will demonstrate real issues by focusing on a teambased case study through much of the course that covers the life cycle process of managing a project to implement an eHealth system, beginning with needs analysis and ending with implementation and maintenance.
