ECS 776 / Community Engaged Narrative Arts

This course is a practice-based, experiential education class in which students will develop a project in arts-based community-making. Students will engage with a community of their choosing to co-develop a project that enables a community to tell their own story their way. Students will discuss readings on the ethics and practices of community-engaged scholarship, develop proposals for community-based projects, and produce either a project itself or an essay reflecting on a community project.
