CHEMENG 4X03 - Polymer Processing

Advancing the principles of laminar fluid mechanics by application to the field of polymer processing, stressing the development of models that describe flow in parallel and series. Focus is given to extrusion and injection molding. Examines the unique rheological properties of polymers and shows their impact on flow processes.
Three lectures; winter term
Prerequisite(s): One of CHEMENG 3TP6 , or CHEMENG 3A04, or CHEMENG 3M04, or MATLS 3E04 or MECHENG 3R03 ; and CHEMENG 2O04  or MECHENG 3O04
