PNB 3EE3 - Perception Laboratory 3 unit(s)
Students will study human perception from an applied, experimental perspective. They will learn how to design experiments to probe the boundaries of human perception, how to visualize and analyze data, and how to communicate research findings orally and in writing. Topics include: psychophysics, perceptual illusions, interactions between perception, attention and motor behaviour, experimental design, statistical modelling, computer programming, eye-tracking, and collaborative writing.
One tutorial (one hour), one lab (three hours); one term
Prerequisite(s): Credit or registration in PNB 3XE3 and registration in Level III or above of an Honours or Combined Honours Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour program; or ISCI 2A18 A/B
