Topics include: groups, subgroups, normal subgroups, quotient groups, group homomorphisms, First Isomorphism Theorem for groups, symmetric and alternating groups, rings, subrings, ideals, quotient rings, ring homomorphisms, and the First Isomorphism Theorem for rings.
