HISTORY 3JR3 - Justice and Reparations in the Post-slavery World

This comparative course examines struggles for justice and freedom in post-slavery societies in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Focusing on the post-slavery Americas, the course will explore social, legal and political struggles to create free societies and reparations for slavery.
Lecture and discussion (three hours); one term.
Prerequisite(s): Registration in Level II or above
