KINESIOL 1ED3 - Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Physical Activity

This course invites students to embark on a journey to enhance critical knowledge, capacity, and competency in applying equity, diversity, and inclusion principles in Kinesiology learning and practice. Employing an interdisciplinary approach, the course explores the processes and outcomes of persistent and systemic marginalization in various physical activity contexts, along with strategies for addressing these social injustices.
Lectures (three hours); one term
Prerequisite(s): Registration in Level I Honours Kinesiology.
KINESIOL 1ED3 can count towards the six units of Faculty of Science elective credit for Honours Kinesiology students who completed this course in the 2023-2024 Fall/Winter Terms.
