Offers in-depth exploration of a topic in the life sciences in the context of current societal challenges. Students will formulate questions and seek answers through critically evaluating research literature and interpreting data. They will communicate the meaning and significance of scientific findings through written, visual or oral formats in a collaborative learning environment.
Lecture (two hours), tutorial (one hour); one term
Prerequisite(s): Registration in Level IV or above of an Honours Life Sciences program
Effective 2027-2028, enrolment is guaranteed for students in Honours Life Sciences Health Evidence and Science Engagement Specialization. Preferential enrolment for remaining seats is done by preregistration ballot (See Department Note 5 above)
