This course approaches science and technology through the lens of literary and cultural studies by analyzing the production, communication, and representation of scientific and technological knowledge through a range of written and visual texts. Critical frameworks can include science and technology studies, medical humanities, environmental humanities, cultural studies, critical disability studies, Indigenous studies, alongside feminist, queer, and critical race theories.
