INDIGST 4TR3 - Deyohahage:gihe’gowahneh / Two Row on the Grand: Cultural Resurgence, Respect & Reconciliation

This land/water-based interdisciplinary and experiential course will join the Two Row on the Grand participants in a community-based and organized 10-day canoe paddle from Cambridge, Ontario to Port Maitland, Ontario (163 km). The course will explore Indigenous and decolonizing theoretical knowledge, skills, and practices that are guided by the Haudenosaunee Great Law of Peace and the original peace treaty Deyohahage:gihę’gowahneh - Two Row Wampum between the Haudenosaunee and settler nations/communities.
Pre-requisite(s): Registration in any level of an Indigenous Studies or Social Work program.
