PACE 3A03 - Applied Practice in Equitable Activity, Mobility, and Community Health 3 unit(s)
Advanced skills in client engagement, clinical reasoning, and complex problem-solving. Through a supervised placement at the McMaster Physical Activity Centre of Excellence (PACE), students refine professional competencies in delivering equitable, high-quality exercise and rehabilitation programming for clients with diverse abilities and backgrounds. Applications are available on the Kinesiology Department website and must be submitted to the Academic Program Advisor 30 days prior to the start of the term (see Sessional Dates in the Undergraduate Calendar). Students are required to complete two hours of online modules with accompanying content quizzes and attend a two-hour in-person orientation session. Students will complete a 60-hour supervised volunteer placement in PACE as the primary experiential learning component.

Prerequisite(s): PACE 2A03 ; current Standard First Aid/CPR/AED certification
