Completion of any Level I program and a Grade Point Average of at least 5.0 including a grade of at least C in one of ARTHIST 1A03 or ARTHIST 1AA3. Students must complete both ARTHIST 1A03 or ARTHIST 1AA3 by the end of Level II.
Notes
Before choosing Level II and III courses, students should become familiar with the prerequisites for Level III and IV courses.
Students intending to pursue graduate work in Art History should note that most universities offering such programs require undergraduate work in at least one foreign language for admission. Students are encouraged to include the study of foreign languages as early as possible in their program.
Upper-level students may wish to pursue an internship in an art museum or gallery, or undertake a research project by completing HUMAN 3W03 or HUMAN 4W03 and should consult with the Art History Counsellor for advice.
